Ningbo Xinhuachang International Containers Co., Ltd (NXIC) was established in 2002 and put into production in March 2003. On March 31, 2017, the production line at the old factory area in Dagang Industrial District was officially relocated, and resumed production on May 18, 2017. The total investment in the relocation project was 450 million RMB.
NXIC mainly produces various international standard dry cargo shipping containers, 45-foot containers, and open-top containers. The production line of NXIC was designed by CXIC Group based on years of container production experience, incorporating reasonable suggestions from various sources. It is equipped with advanced intelligent handling equipment and water-based paint production lines, featuring a scientifically rational layout, efficient and flexible production, with an annual design production capacity of 250,000 TEU.
NXIC is located in Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhejiang Province, with a strategically advantageous location. It is within 8-22 kilometers from various container terminals under Ningbo Zhoushan Port and 3-15 kilometers from major container yards in Ningbo. Ningbo Zhoushan Port is an important seaport and hub for import and export cargo distribution in eastern China. Leveraging the strong economic growth momentum and vast export processing base in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, the region has a huge demand for containers.
As the second standard container production enterprise under CXIC Group, NXIC adheres to the management philosophy of "people-oriented", strengthens management details, and improves employee quality, thus forming a stable, efficient, and effective management team. NXIC was the first to comprehensively promote quality management QMS and MES systems within CXIC Group, making it a model for the successful operation of data network systems within the group. NXIC also successfully passed the BVQI ISO9001 quality assurance system certification in 2004.
